Every day that passes I agree more with the idea that people with slower reaction times have more fun in Apex Legends. The time that it takes to kill someone with a mouse and a keyboard is too high and most of the times if you don’t hit a perfect spray on the opponent someone else will have to shoot at him to down them. If your reaction times are faster than your team-mate’s you are gonna be the master kill assistant because you won’t get any of those kills, you will make just a ton of damage.

Since I enjoy playing competitive multiplayer FPS games, many times I have been asked why I don’t play Valorant. I know my reasons very well but explaining them is always uncomfortable since I know most people don’t care for that type of details or they think that someone having such knowledge might be suspicious. I totally disagree with them but I also don’t care enough to have an extensive argument with them so I just say anything to brush the questioning.

During the last 3 years I have played and trained almost everyday in the fps multiplayer game Apex Legends. Unfortunately the increasing occurrences of players hacking in the server has made me play less by the day.

Games have to be fair in order for them to be games. Cross play changes games in an unfair and uncompetitive way. When some of the players have software systems to compensate for their lack of input accuracy this gives special treatment to them. I don’t support cross play in competitive aim based shooters. It turns eSports into accesible entertainment on the expense of a big part of the player population.

How to make Apex Legends run smoothly

Today I finally found a solution for Apex not running nicely in my system. I had really good fps but if felt stutter-y and it dropped frames that you could notice .

I limited the game’s fps with RTSS and voila! Back to being able to see where the tracers go when I’m shooting and all the movement around me. We were smacking the servers with practically only top 3’s.

I’m glad I could finally enjoy some matches in the game without feeling so frustrated with the game’s performance.
